MESSAGE ON A BOTTLE
Book Report due on Tuesday, September 22, 2015
This report must be done on a non-fiction book preferably from the summer reading log. This report will count as a test/project grade in Reading & English. Please follow the directions carefully. Remember grammar, spelling and neatness counts. Please write in complete sentences. Come prepared to present your book report to the class on the 22nd. Have fun! You will cover any 2 liter soda bottle with your information. Remove the soda label. All information should be hand written neatly on construction paper or you may type and print it on white paper before gluing your sentences onto construction paper. The construction paper strips or bubbles should then be glued or taped to the bottle. Write the title and author of your book on a strip and glue or tape it just below the neck of the bottle. Write your name and Third Grade on a strip and glue/tape that above the Title/Author strip. Write a sentence with the main idea of the book on a strip and glue/tape it just below the author & illustrator strip. Then write 5 supporting detail sentences onto bubble shaped construction paper and glue them anywhere between the neck and bottom. Last, state whether you would recommend this book to others and why and print it onto a strip glued near the bottom of the bottle.
